First community grants agreed
The board agreed funding for local clubs, the heritage group, a sports day and Sedge Fen Village Hall.
The Neighbourhood Board has started spending the programme’s early funding on small local projects.
On 17 July 2026 it agreed grants for Lakenheath Youth Football Club, Lakenheath Scouts Group, Lakenheath Football Club (£2,500) and Lakenheath Parent and Teachers Association. The decision log shows that the youth football club, the scouts and the PTA each received the full amount they requested.
On 14 August 2026 it agreed further grants, each for the full amount requested, to Lakenheath Bowls Club, Lakenheath Heritage Group, Lakenheath Camera Club, Joan Mann Sports Day and Sedge Fen Village Hall.
